3- Secretary Nightmare; The Secretaries. Our protagonist has unsettling auditory hallucinations

4- Tiamat Approaches; She Kills Monsters. A five-headed dragon stalks and towers above

5- Rainforest Timelapse; The River Bride. An acoustic representation of time passing in the Amazon

6- Wise; Rain World. A presence both unsettling and beautiful invites you to mourn with them

7- Friendlyshore; Rain World. A journey filled with discovery and excitement

8- Music of Labyrinth; Dance Film. Two dancers explore. Each dancer is represented by an instrument

Video Showcase

“The Exclusionary Art of Samara Aguilar is a video exhibit that introduces audiences to a fictional art gallery with a science-fiction twist. It presents itself in character and does not advertise the fact that it is fictional, leaving the audience to piece together clues for themselves. Throughout the 7 minute runtime, we explore an art collection from a town where light works differently, and see examples of how the art scene is affected.”

This video was one of many deliverables of my MFA Thesis project, titled ’The Malenta Exhibit’. This multimodal thesis was focused on expanding my 2-year long creative writing project, Workplace Training Audio. More videos and artifacts can be discovered by clicking the links in this paragraph.
